lluminating Our Community: Thomson LED Sign
York Township Public Library and the Thomson Community Fund are working together to bring a new LED community sign to Thomson. The sign will provide a central place to share library programs, community events, local activities, and important emergency announcements.
With no local newspaper and limited ways to reach residents, this sign will help keep Thomson residents and alumni connected and informed. The project was made possible in part through an Illinois State Library Technology Grant, which provided seed funding to get the campaign started.
We are grateful to the individuals, businesses, organizations, and community members who have supported this project. Together, we are illuminating our community!
